Split Rock is an eyeglass company located in Toronto and Niagara. They strive to provide their customers with accessible and affordable high quality products and service. Their goal is to clean up Canada's Great Lakes by sending out teams to collect waste materials from each of the lakes, and the beaches. From these collected materials, they repurpose them into their stylish and sustainable eyewear.
The process began with researching into current competitors within the eyeglass field. I had worked alongside another Jr. Graphic Designer to develop a brand strategy and identity. We had then gone into research on many related structures, locations, species, and more, that are related to the Great Lakes, where we developed the brand name: Split Rock, inspired by a lighthouse structure along Lake Superior.
